Why another blog?

There are so many Blogs around … Is this one Important?

  3. Our topics are from courses we have put together. No repeat copies of other people’s work.
  4. We have FREE eBooks! Really no catch. We’re not collecting email addresses or selling them to anyone else so No pouching please!
  5. We’ve lived in the World of Counselling for over 40 years now —- do I know some wisdom to go along with the Mind knowledge? YEP! Our categories are about 20 so there’s no boredom! Come visit us on our Home page! Before I tell you more, let introduce Daniel and Susan!
  6. … and now …

Retirement found us in 2018 surrounded by as loving community, still continuing in Mentoring and Coaching in Melbourne Australia. Susan is still involved in Blogs and the Internet, having collected 1,000 pages of Worksheets, and teaching materials. Part of that teaching material is found with our package on ‘Looking into Pinterest’.

Our new development: We have moved to sunny Queensland but it’s summer now and very hot!

Susanne: “We need to know what is stored in our Heart that keeps us from God and the abundant life He promised.

This is more of a journey than a onetime event. God often exposes what is in our Heart through buttons that others push.  When we get offended about a particular situation or with a person, we have a reaction to that event or person.””

We need to learn to deal with the buttons pushed by others to help us see what is in our Heart and work through Heart issuesMy reaction means it is my button, my responsibility.  I cannot make others not push my buttons; that is manipulation and subtle control of others – so that I don’t get hurt.  Rather, we need to learn to use the buttons being pushed to find out the roots of such reactions.

“A good example of this is when we moved into our new home, and I organized the kitchen as I wanted it.  Many times, my husband would come in and make changes as (his answer) ‘…. this is more logical’.”

Finally, I asked the Lord where this button was coming from.  He showed me a 13-year-old Susan standing with Mother, who had just re-arranged my closet and drawers, tossing precious things out without my input.  Where was the real button?  …. with my mother taking over my possessions. God love us too much to leave the harmful pain in our Heart.”

We try to get something set up every week, but you know busy schedules …
